Information We Collect E-Newsletter Sign-Up If you would like to sign up to receive our free seasonal e-newsletter regarding new books in your field from the Holtzbrinck family of companies, we'll request your name, institution and e-mail address, as well as your area(s) of specialization and/or interest. Examination and Desk Copies Instructors may request examination and desk copies of books published by the Holtzbrinck companies. In connection with fulfilling your request, we'll ask you for information such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and the name of your institution, as well as the book title and ISBN, and in the case of desk copies, the name of the course in which the book is being used and the number of students enrolled. Teachers' Guides and Other Products Currently, we offer Teachers' Guides free of charge, and may in the future offer giveaways or other promotional items. In these instances, we will request your contact information (such as name and mailing address) to fulfill your request, and may request other information that we think is useful or relevant. "Contact Us" You may choose to contact us through our website. If you e-mail us comments or questions, we will have your e-mail address, as well as any other information you choose to provide. Other Site Features We may from time to time offer visitors to our website various other features, and we may ask for certain personal information in connection with these features. Your Choices We give you the option of requesting that we not share your information with companies related to Holtzbrinck by common ownership for marketing use. However, PLEASE NOTE that, because of the integrated nature of the businesses of Holtzbrinck and some of these companies, if you opt out of sharing with them, you will also automatically be opted out of marketing use by the Holtzbrinck academic marketing division. That means that you will not receive our e-newsletter or information from us about books, desk and examination copies, promotions and services.
